Meet Nic
Nic Quilter is a versatile performer, with 15 years of public performance experience on his resume, he’s played at numerous weddings, restaurants & bars, art galleries, hotels, casinos, choirs and orchestras, festivals… you name it. He graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in jazz composition where he had the great honor of sharing the stage with Wycliffe Gordon as a member of the school’s top big band, and studied with some incredible mentors.
Nic can hold his own as a solo performer, both as a guitarist and a vocalist. He also organizes his own bands, ranging from duos and trios to nonets, which all fall under the name of N+. Nic is a sideman for various other groups, including Sonic Groove, and Deep Love Opera. His latest project is a collaboration with cellist Bryn Boogert and violist/violinist Rachel Horman, the Juniper Trio.
