Juniper Trio

The Juniper Trio is an alternative string trio based out of Salt Lake City, UT who specializes in weddings, events, and public performances. Their unique instrumentation coupled with diverse musical backgrounds enables them to play everything from classical to contemporary. They are equally at home singing or playing instrumentally. It is comprised of Nic Quilter (guitar, vocals), Bryn Boogert (cello, vocals), and Rachel Horman (violin, viola, vocals)

She got her masters degree in cello performance from the University of Utah, and performs often as a regular member of the Orchestra at Temple Square. On top of that she is a killer alto, and a great arranger. Meet Nic! Back in the winter of 2021, in the midst of full quaratine, @nicquiltermusic started a weekly livestream concert series where he invited a different guest every Friday to play with him in his family's music room. He called Rachel and Bryn one week, hoping to bathe in the lush sounds of their bowed string mastery. This was the first time the group played together officially, and planted the seed to eventually formalize the trio. Nic is a lifelong musician and a graduate of the University of Utah's jazz program, where he earned a degree in composition. He is a full time guitarist, vocalist, arranger, and composer. He is extremely proud of Juniper, and hopes to see the trio continue to grow! His arrangements for the trio include: Send Me on My Way, Desert Air, Dale's Kitchen, Wouldn't it be Nice, Every Little Thing She Does is Magic, Haydn's "Gypsy" piano concerto, Beauty and the Beast, A Song for Fall, Consider the Lilies, and more!
