A modular group that is Nic “+”. As the leader he will organize a duo, trio, quartet, etc. to fit the needs of the gig. Do you want a trio for cocktail hour, a duo for a new show at an art gallery, or a 7 piece dance band with a horn section for a reception? N+ has it covered.

N+ Trio Demo Reel
This is one of my favorite instrumentations to perform with! It is modeled after Nat King Cole’s trio with Oscar Moore (guitar) and Johnny Miller (bass). This is a demo reel I made from a fundraiser we played back in February 2024. Featuring Alicia Wrigley (bass), and Scott Siebert (piano).
a quick note: I did quite a terrible job recording this, and so I make light of it with some quirky iMovie editing :)
N+ Quartet feat. Cody McKinnon
This is from a few years back (college years) featuring my good friend and brilliant vocalist Cody McKinnon, along with my equally brilliant friends John Kim (bass) and Sam Brings (drums). Cody is available on request, but currently resides in Texas so you’ll have to fly him in (worth it).
Guitar Trio Live Audio
Here’s an example of a guitar trio (with a drummer and bassist, not 3 guitars!) recorded live at a gig with a handheld recorder. Sam Brings is playing drums and Sam Malonee is playing bass.
